Matthew woke up very congested and raspy this morning. He’s been very cuddly with Mommy all day. She had Matthew laying on the bed as she got dressed. Jonathan came in and said, “I want to sit by Matthew, he’s my favorite guy!”
Mommy took the boys to Target this morning. While there they found Easter candy on sale, so Mommy bought a bag of jelly beans. When they got home, she put some of the beans in a bowl for Jonathan, who, after eating a handfull, said, “Mommy, these jelly beans don’t make my belly happy, they make it sad. The jelly beans in my Easter eggs make my belly happy.”
Jonathan was full of energy today. Mommy snapped this picture of him trying to climb the walls - literally!

Ok, so Daddy will try to get things back in order around here. It’s been a busy month, but Mommy’s been keeping good notes every day.
It was a beautiful, warm spring day today. Daddy came home from work and took Jonathan to the neighbor’s trampoline. He and Daddy bounced around and wrestled for about twenty minutes - long enough to waer Daddy out! Tyler came out to play and he and Jonathan ran around for almost ten more minutes before Mommy texted us that dinner was almost ready. Daddy suggested that we hook up the sprinkler and Jonathan was all for it, until he got wet, then he ran back up the stairs and into the house. Oh well, another day perhaps.

Happy Easter everyone! We went to church this morning. the boys were dressed in their spring sweater vests. We came home and ate some yummy grilled cheese sandwiches and Daddy and Jonathan took a quick nap - so did Mommy and Matthew. We drove across th bridge to visit with Tim, Amy and the girls. Jonathan and the girls ran around and around. Daddy took everyone on an expedition to the creek and the kids tossed rocks into the water. The joy of being a kid is that every little adventure is just that - an adventure. We came home late and Jonathan was ready for bed.

Nana and Papa had to go home today. Jonathan asked, “Why?” several times. Mommy’s friend Teaque came by and the girls retreated to the basement to scrapbook for the afternoon. Daddy and the boys watched a Scooby Doo cartoon on the laptop before nap time.
