After Daddy came home from work, we went to Pizza King and met Daniel, Robyn, Thomas and Benjamin for dinner. We all headed back to our house for presents and games. The boys had lots of energy to burn. Jonathan was out before midnight, which is good because he didn’t hear the fireworks (or pistols) going off in the neighborhood. When Mommy and Daddy laid down for bed, Daddy felt something at the foot of the bed, under the covers. He pulled out several stuffed animals that Jonathan had hidden. Sneaky boy.

Tonight we went to Tim and Amy’s house. Jonathan played with the girls and we sang songs with them during their family worship time. Mommy put Matthew’s mobile up this afternoon. He was amused. Still has that crazy donkey. Jonathan asked about every 30 seconds if Daddy was home. Looked out window, saw car in the driveway and said, “Daddy’s home!” Daddy drove Mommy’s car today.

Nana and Papa left today. Jonathan was sad that he had lost his lightsaber dueling buddy. Jonathan played with his toy harmonica, stopped and said, “Mommy, I’m playing rhapsody in blue!”

Today Daddy, Papa, and Jonathan went to get new tires on Daddy’s car and to All About Kids. Mommy and Nana took Matthew to the doctor to be weighed - 9 lbs. 12 oz - he’s growing.
Mommy and Daddy went out on a date tonight. Jonathan and Papa went to get pizza. Here was their dialog:
Jonathan: Papa, where’s your blue lightsaber?
Papa: I left it at home.
Jonathan: What if you need it?
Papa: We’re going to Papa John’s.
Jonathan: I wanna go to Jimmy Johns.
Papa: To get a sandwich?
Jonathan: No, a pizza.
Papa: We have to go to Papa John’s to get pizza.
In the parking lot - Jonathan: Where’s Jimmy John’s?

It was a cold, snow-flurrying day. Mommy, Nana, and Matthew went out shopping. Daddy, Jonathan, and Papa stayed around and worked on a couple of projects before meeting the girls at On the Border for dinner.

It was a slow day around the house. We played outside a bit, downstairs a bit, and mostly just rested.

Merry Christmas.
We opened our stockings then ate breakfast. Then, when Jonathan couldn’t stand it anymore, we opened our presents. It was a wonderful day to relax, enjoy one another’s company, and to celebrate.
