Happy Reformation Day (and Halloween)! We all headed over to the flea market this morning. Jonathan picked out several Hot Wheels; after a nap, we went tricker-treating around the neighborhood. Our neighbors were having a party and put up a bouncy slide. Jonathan had a blast playing and riding around the streets and yards on a wagon pulled by a John Deere riding lawn mower.

Mommy, Nana and Jonathan played around the house all morning. Mommy went to get a massage this afternoon. Papa came in to town this evening and he and Nana kept Jonathan busy while Mommy and Daddy went out on a date.

Mommy had a checkup today: a little progress, but still more time to wait. Daddy met Mommy, Jonathan and Nana for lunch.

This evening we went to a nearby church for a Fall Festival. Jonathan got lots of compliments on his zebra costume. He had all kinds of fun with the bouncys and the games: he kicked a soccer ball, shot a basketball, tossed some rings and hit a golf ball.

Mommy and Jonathan went to school this morning. Jonathan worked on his first letter tracing today; he needed some help, but brought home a well-done letter “E.” He and Papa went to the park before dinner, and afterwards Papa helped “gut” a pumpkin and Daddy gave it a face.

Happy birthday Cousin Ruth! We had a housefull of sick people this morning; Nana was the only one without a sore throat and an achey body. We stayed around the house to rest. Even Jonathan was ready for a nap without much convincing. Mommy and Nana took him to the park for a little bit in the afternoon.
