Those Harrod Boys

The day was beautiful.  Mommy and Jonathan came to bring Daddy dinner at work tonight so he could stay late to study.  When they parker, there was a John Deere Gator near Daddy’s car.  The driver was nice enough to let Jonathan play in it for a minute.  We had fun running around on the great lawn.  We even ran into one of Mommy’s friends and her two boys.  Jonathan had fun with Bryson, they played with a soccer ball.

We got a late start but made it to church in time for Sunday school.  Afterwards we went out to lunch with Coutrney and Brittany.  Jonathan wanted to sit by Brittany.  We came home so Daddy could read and Jonathan could sleep.  Mommy’s friend Teaque came over late this afternoon to take some maternity pictures.  Here are a few that we’ve seen: great work Teaque!

Daddy took this one.  Mommy is now 30 weeks along.  Only 10 weeks to go (hey, that’s only 2 weeks in binary).

Happy birthday baby Elliott!  We got the call that Amy had delivered her son just before midnight last night.  This morning Daddy left for a concealed carry class early while Mommy and Jonathan went to Target to buy baby stuff.  We went to the hospital to visit the little guy before heading to the Clem’s house.  The boys were wild, but had fun.

When Jonathan woke up from his nap, he went to the bathroom.  As usual, we had to remind him to put on his underwar before running around the house.  This time he put on his shorts too.  We went about our business, talked to Nana on the pohone, then told him to make a potty trip before we left.  He took of his shorts and we both about laughed ourselves onto the floor: yes, his undies were on inside out and backwards.

After a long week at the office, Daddy came home in time to let Mommy go get a haircut.  We had breakfast for dinner and watched the Wizard of Ozz (or as Jonathan calls it, “Somewhere over the rainbow”).

Today Mommy and Jonathan went to church to drop off some items for the CDO fall festival.  Mommy’s going to be helping out in a few weeks.  We played around the house this evening.

We went to the state fair today.  It was very warm outside.  We ate lots of food.  The three of us rode the ferris wheel.  Jonathan may look like his Granny, but he sure doesn’t share her fear of heights - Mommy had to tell him not to lean toward the edge more than once.  He also rode a train all by himself - literally!  He had fun on the dragon roller-coaster and on the swings.  We sawlambs and piggies and cows.  One cow even snuck up behind Jonathan and startled him.  He learned about bee hives and honey and even judged the hay.  He had fun in the bouncy fire house and played in an old firetruck and took Daddy for a ride on a Gator.  There were lots of John Deere implements around, even made from balloons!  But the best ride of the night was on the escallator with Daddy.

Happy birthday Cousin Nathan!  Only four more months till Christmas!  Mommy and Jonathan played outside to trim the flowers (and the weeds!) today.  Jonathan thought Mommy’s kneeling pad made a good pillow.  We went to Target tonight when Daddy got home from work.
