Those Harrod Boys

Today Mommy and Jonathan went with Amy, Julia, and Kat to Hobby Lobby, Target, and to the mall for lunch.  The kids played on the riding toys - they pretended they were moving.

Today Mommy was cleaning out Jonathan’s closet and he saw her move the unopened box of play-dough from the top shelf.  Mommy let him play with it for a while, even though she did have to pick it up off the floor once or twice.

Nana and Papa had to go home this morning, but that didn’t stop Jonathan from asking for them after his nap and from looking for Papa’s truck after we got home from church tonight.

Before they left, Nana made breakfast.  Jonathan was sure he didn’t want a pancake, well, maybe he did after all.  As you can see, he’s moved into a big-boy chair at the table.  He was none too happy at the moment Daddy was taking the picture.  A beard and a tophat, and he’s one tough recruiter.

Today the girls went to a scrapbook show while the boys went to the mall to play on the boat.  It was a James Bond afternoon.  Jonathan skipped his nap and was slap happy.

Jonathan and Papa played and played today.  It rained this afternoon, so they had to stay inside.  This evening everyone met Daddy at On the Border for dinner, thn the boys headed back to the house while the girls went shopping.  Jonathan threw a fit at bedtime; he wanted his Mommy.  She and Nana came home in time to tuck him in.

Jonathan played with Nana around the house today.

Nana started to fix Jonathan a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch when he said, “No want grilled cheese…want peanut butter jelly.”  So, he ate both!
