So Daddy woke up at 2AM with Jonathan’s stomach bug and spent the better part of the day and night in bed. We were supposed to head back home today, but instead, Jonathan got to stay with Nana and Papa one more day and even went with them to see cousins Hannah and Sarah. Mommy cheered Daddy up with a cute story: when Jonathan, Nana, and Papa got home, Star Wars was on t.v., and Jonathan was very excited. He sat watching the movie until Darth Vader made an appearance, at which point Jonathan said (in his deepest, sith-like voice) “L-U-U-U-K-E!” Tranied him well daddy has.

Jonathan was feeling better today, and so tonight we went to a AAA hckey game. We arrived just as they were singing the national anthem, so we stood outside the arena. As soon as the song was over, and the doors opened, Faith No More’s “Epic” came blasting across the speakers. Grandpa was holding Jonathan, and Jonathan about jumped out of his arms! He was crying and screaming, but we pushed ahead inside. He sat on Mommy’s lap through the whole game, and would occasionally look at Daddy and say, “All done? Car seat? Home?” In the end, he had a fun time though. As they were leaving, Grandma Jen and Mommy heard Jonathan say, “Hockey! Yay!”

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Jonathan started off the day with a sick stomach and was very puny. He even laid on the couch with Daddy and fell asleep for an hour (something he’s never done before). After naptime, he took a turn for the better and was full of energy and ready to play (but not to eat).

After a morning of exploring, we left Nana and Papa’s house this morning and made the four-hour drive west to Grandapa Ron and Grandma Jen’s house.

After a long day’s school and work, Mommy, Daddy, and Jonathan packed up the car and headed north to Nana and Papa’s house. Traffic wasn’t bad and even though Daddy took a wrong exit, we made it in before midnight (their time). Jonathan slept for about three hours, bt by the time we made it to their house, he was wired and ready to play.
