Those Harrod Boys

Today Mommy and Jonathan came to have lunch with Daddy at school.  Tonight we headed over to church for the “trunk-or-treat.”  Jonathan’s spider costume was falling off his shoulders, but hr sure looked cute (and got lots of candy).  When we got home, he got to eat a sucker.  Sunny tried to get some candy of his own.

Tonight Ken and Gretchen came over for pizza and fellowship.  Jonathan kept everyone well-entertained.

Mommy called Daddy at work around 8:30 and was laughing.  “So,” she said, “Guess what your son’s been doing this morning?”  He slept in a little bit and she heard him talking and went in.  Well, just look at the picture and you’ll get the idea…

Jonathan has turned into quite the little Daddy-wrangler in the past week.  He knocks Daddy over and jumps on his back and gets the biggest belly laugh.

Daddy left for work without taking his lunch (again), but he got a special treat: he got to come home for a quick lunch with Mommy and Jonathan.  Daddy took the globe to his new office, but Jonathan thought it was pretty cool.

Mommy wasn’t feeling well this morning, so Dady and Jonathan went to church and then out to lunch with friends from church.  Here’s a funny story: Last night Daddy was joking around with Mommy and said, “Woman,” to which Jonathan promptly parroted, “Woman!”  Gotta be on guard these days!

Tonight, Mommy said, “Maybe we can watch a M-O-V-I-E.”  Jonathan grinned and said, “Moo-mie!”  Now we really have to watch what we say!

Happy Birthday Cousin Ruth!  Jonathan slept in until 8:00 today.  He and Daddy watched t.v. and took it easy so Mommy could get some much deserved rest.  Jonathan got to carve his first pumpkin today.  He wasn’t impressed with the “guts,” but was a big helper with the spoons.  We stayed around the house and rested all day.  He learned a new word today: “Funny”  He laughs and smiles when he says it, so we think he knows what it means.
