Jonathan is feeling much better today, good enough to wrestle with Mommy (looks like she won this round). He’s been trying to make calls on his John Deere cell phone all evening. We went out to dinner tonight and Jonathan learned (and used) a new sign: “Please.” What was he “pleas”-ing about? Daddy’s sweet tea, what else.

Jonathan’s feeling much better today and not running a fever; thanks for your prayers. Maybe Mommy and Daddy will get some sleep tonight.

No new pictures today. Mommy had to wake Jonathan up after a three hour afternoon nap only to find a little boy with a 101.9° fever. We went to the doctors office late this afternoon and Jonathan got his first prescriptions: ear drops and amoxicilin. Thanks for your prayers that he’ll feel better soon.

Not much eventful today; Mommy and Jonathan went to school today while Daddy worked around town. Jonathan tried Daddy’s coat on for size this morning. He’s got some growing to do.

We all three went to church this morning. But before we left, just after Jonathan got up and dressed, Daddy snapped a couple of pictures. Jonathan wasn’t quite awake yet.
This afternoon Daddy and Jonathan went to visit Mr. Dr. Draper who is recovering from a knee replacement at home. Daddy went to work on his computer while Jonathan provided entertainment by using Dr. Draper’s walker as an IJG - an Improvised Jungle Gym. After we returned home Mommy gave Jonathan a bath and he cuddled up with her and watched some of White Christmas (viewing number two of the season) before going to bed.

Today we all three got up and drove to Ohio to visit Aunt Debbie, Uncle John, and Cousins April, Ruth, Andrew, and Nathan. Jonathan and Nathan had fun playing together, eating crackers, and taking one anothers sippy cups.
They even got to meet Haj, Aunt Debbie’s “puppy.” Jonathan didn’t know what to make of Haj at first, probably because of his barking, but after a while he crawled up to the gate and reached his hand through to pet him.
Uncle Jim and Aunt Betty dropped in for a while this afternoon. I think this must be one source of Jonathan’s height.
