Those Harrod Boys

Jonathan went to work with Mommy today and this afternoon he played for a while in the living room floor before taking a nap.  This evening Daddy came home with a set of patio furniture for the deck!  The box was really big (and really heavy - over 200 LBS!), but it made a great fortress for the boys.

No new pictures today - the three of us got up early and went to church at 8:30 this morning and then had brunch. We’ve taken it easy most of the day and are heading to bed.

Daddy and Mommy got up a little after 5 this morning to get ready for a yard sale at church!  It was a beautiful morning and afternoon and Mommy was able to sell several things.  While Mommy was busy minding her wares, Daddy and Jonathan were taking it easy in the back of Daddy’s truck (just think Jonathan, one day it will be yours buddy - by then we can put classic tags on it!).  It is quite possible that Daddy was teaching Jonathan how to go “Sppplllhhh!

Jonathan has been waking up early for the past couple of days.  This morning it was 6:40 AM, but this is ok because it’s getting Daddy back in the habit of rising early.  We tried a different brand of carrots today and they seemed a bit “runnier” than the first brand.  Jonathan had fun with them though.

Tonight we went for a fellowship at the home of Dr. & Mrs. Gentry, Daddy’s Hebrew instructor.  Jonathan made friends with Daddy’s classmates.  While he may not be a Hebrew scholar just yet he sure can make some of the same sounds that we do in class!

It rained on and off all day today, but Jonathan didn’t seem to mind.  He’s been in a great mood all day - lots of laughter and giggles, which is surprising because he has two teeth poking through his gums!  Daddy was holding him earlier this afternoon and he was playing with my hands and happened to rub one across his gums and Dady realized something was different in there.  Mommy checked it out and sure enough, two front teeth are starting to break through.

Daddy left home at 5 AM and didn’t get home until 7:30 PM, so he didn’t even get the laptop out of the bag when he got home!  Jonathan had a good day and was only awake for a few minutes when Daddy got home.  Here’s a picture of he and Mommy.

Mommy and Jonathan went to the zoo with friends from church today. They got to see the baby elephant and lots of other cool animals. They met Daddy for lunch at Panera Bread afterwards.
