Those Harrod Boys

Yet another month has passed and Jonathan continues to grow more and more with every day.  Today he was able to sit for a couple of minutes with very little help - considering he usually falls right over, this change is a big one.  Here’s a pic that cousin April took this afternoon.

But he seemed to like her keyboard even more!

Today Mommy and Jonathan went to the Stay at Home Mom’s group and afterwards to the nail salon for a petticure (Jonathan gave Mommy a gift certificate for one at Christmas). It was warm enough, and the grass was tall enough, for Daddy to start the lawn mower this evening. Also this afternoon a new toy arrived for Jonathan: a stuffed bunny from Grandpa Ron, Grandma Jen, and Aunt Lauren!

No new pictures today.  The storm that blew through at 3 AM woke both Mommy and Daddy, but Jonathan slept, well, like a baby.  He got to play with his toy fish in the bath tub tonight - Daddy named it “Squirt” because it spits water (how cool!).

Today the three of us visited the zoo!  We wern’t able to stay long, just an hour or so because Daddy had to get to work, but we had a great adventure.  Jonathan got to touch flowers,

and he saw a jaguar (the cat, not the car),

and he and Mommy watched a polar bear swimming!

Daddy visited Mommy and Jonathan at school today. Daddy sent him out without socks and needed to bring him a pair! He didn’t seem to mind going without them though. Tonight he and Mommy played around the house while Daddy was at a deacons’ meeting.

The three of us went to church this morning and then out with Mrs. Billie Jo and family for lunch. We spent the rest of the afternoon around the house tidying up and watching basketball (Go Georgetown!). Jonathan’s been quite fussy the past two days and Daddy saw what might be a couple of teeth starting to come in, so maybe that’s what’s been bothering him. We all took a walk around the neighborhood this evening. We didn’t snap any pictures today.
